The option window is used to setup test questions. Click on the category you wish to be tested on. At this point you have two choices.
Random Questions - Click on the number of questions you wish to review. A group of questions (from the category selected) will be randomly generated, and displayed in the Test Window when the OK button is activated. The questions are selected from a bank of unanswered questions.
Questions By Keyword - Returns all questions from the selected category with the keyword in the question text. Number of questions found is displayed. The questions are selected from a bank of unanswered questions. Click the OK button to display the Test Window with search results. If no keyword is entered, the search returns all questions in the category. This can be useful if you wish to print a book of all questions. A book of illustrations can be printed from the CD Extras folder.
Printing Test Questions - Select the Print Test option by clicking the box in the lower left corner of the Option Window. With the print option selected the test questions are sent to the printer when the OK button is activated. An answer key is also printed.
Each test and answer sheet is prints with a unique test number, and has an average of 5 questions per page. Questions include USCG question number, and illustration reference, if required.
