All our Merchant Marine Training CD's are designed to be user friendly, yet produce powerful results. Anyone can use it regardless of computer experience. To install simply put the CD in the drive and click on the install button, and follow the instructions. Applications include an extensive help file.
The questions for each license grade have been selected by the painstaking process of reviewing applicants and use of Code of Federal Regulations TITLE 46--SHIPPING, CHAPTER I, PART 10, LICENSING OF MARITIME PERSONNEL, Subpart I, Subjects of License Examinations and Practical Demonstrations of Competence.
Random tests generate a 10, 25 or 50 question test, from the bank of unanswered questions.
Test can also be generated using a key word search. Using the key word "CPR" in the Safety module would return all the questions with CPR included in the question text from the bank of unanswered questions.
Questions answered correctly are tagged and will not be used again unless reset. See Test Window for details.
Tests and illustrations can be printed with an answer key, by checking the Print option in the Setup window.
All questions are genuine, unedited directly from the United States Coast Guard bank of questions. CD's are not mass produced as they are updated regularly, and contain the latest updates.
All CD's contain reference material to help in your studies.
